The 2010 International Retail Design Conference (IRDC) was held for the first time outside the borders of the lower 48 … in Toronto, Canada. Organizers wanted to promote the city's retail scene—a draw for attendees seeking fresh inspiration—as well as the conference's education and networking benefits. We achieved this balance with a dual-cover, flip brochure; the front half focused on speakers and topics, and the back half a selection of standout stores, complete with a map. The conference saw a 65% increase in registrations over 2009 — an amazing success for an industry climbing back from the recession. |
